Suzuki has officially revealed the 2026 Hayabusa, introducing subtle but meaningful updates to the electronics package along with new colour options. The legendary hyperbike keeps its core mechanicals unchanged, but becomes more refined, more responsive, and more touring-friendly.
For collectors and enthusiasts, Suzuki has also rolled out a limited-run Special Edition, featuring a heritage racing-inspired “Pearl Vigor Blue” colour.
The biggest changes for 2026 come in the electronics department. Suzuki has retuned the selectable throttle maps, specifically improving torque delivery in the lower rpm range. This refinement gives the Hayabusa stronger acceleration when riding in the city, on twisty roads, or during relaxed touring.
Mechanically, the Hayabusa’s powerhouse remains unchanged. The 1,340cc inline-four engine continues to produce 190hp @ 9700 rpm and 150Nm of torque @ 7000 rpm.
However, riders can now opt for an Akrapovic exhaust, offered as an optional accessory. This accessory significantly reduces weight, boost power and enhances the bike’s iconic soundtrack.
Alongside the standard model, Suzuki has introduced a Special Edition Hayabusa aimed at riders who want exclusivity without sacrificing the Hayabusa’s trademark performance.
Key differentiators for this limited-run model include:
The 2026 Suzuki Hayabusa is priced at $ 19,499 for Standard model & $ 20,129 for Special Edition
There is no official word yet on the India launch. If Suzuki does bring the 2026 model to India, buyers should expect a slight price increase over the outgoing model (18.06 lakhs INR ex. showroom) due to the electronic enhancements and global pricing shifts.
